There’s no doubt about it. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to the most quotable person in history: Anonymous

“Common sense is the least common of all the senses.” ~Anonymous

“A bank is a place that will lend you money, if you can prove that you don’t need it.”  ~Anonymous

“Just remember…if the world didn’t suck, we’d all fall off.” ~Anonymous

“Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?” ~Anonymous

“The sole purpose of a child’s middle name, is so he can tell when he’s really in trouble.” ~Anonymous

“Lite: the new way to spell “Light,” now with 20% fewer letters!” ~Anonymous

“Books have knowledge, knowledge is power, power corrupts, corruption is a crime, and crime doesn’t pay. So if you keep reading, you’ll go broke.” ~Anonymous

“Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.” ~Anonymous

“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.”~Anonymous*

  1. Good old Anon wrote some fine music, too.

  2. successbmine says:

    Great choices, Mitch.

“The sole purpose of a child’s middle name, is so he can tell when he’s really in trouble.” ~Anonymous
My mother obviously never thought of this use because the reason she didn’t give me a middle name was she thought no one ever used one.

Love this one, too. “Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.” ~Anonymous

  3. Anne Alexander says:

    Hilarious, brother!

  4. trE says:

    I believe it! 😂🤣😆

  5. Always carry a book though

  6. These are great! Did you find them all or make some up?

  7. robstroud says:

Anonymous also said “don’t quote me on that,” didn’t he?

  8. emosobriety says:

This anonymous person sounds smart! 😉

  9. ropheka says:

“Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.” ~Anonymous
    So true

  10. This guy/gal, Anonymous, has a lot of wisdom. I especially like his/her “Books have knowledge….” 🙂

  11. I met Anonymous many years ago, but I cannot remember what he looked like!😏

  12. randydafoe says:

It’s a shame we can’t put a name to these statements. Perhaps for the authors the mere creation was enough.

  13. Belinda O says:

I’m not sure which I quote I like best. Thanks for sharing!

  14. Info-Man says:

Intresting the common sense one is actually so hilarious and true 😂.

  15. ibarynt says:

Oh my daughter should not see the book one 🤣.

    These are brilliant

  16. Anonymous says:

I think I’ve been misquoted… and/or failed to be attributed to

  17. Carla says:

Anonymous was a profound person. Are they related to Confucious?

  18. AI fïed says:

Anonymous really does have an uncanny talent for saying exactly what people are already thinking but never quite phrase that well. The mix of humor and sharp truth works because it sneaks wisdom in without trying to sound wise. That AI quote still lands a little too perfectly.

  19. Chuckster says:

Common sense, which you may agree, is perfectly obvious the moment it enters the room carrying a clipboard and a whistle, turns out—after we follow it obediently down the hallway, past the exit, through a broom closet, and into a locked basement labeled DO NOT THINK—is neither common nor sensible, but merely a hat that shouts directions while the building quietly burns.
