“We are the clay, and You are the potter…”

“For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Therefore, do all things without grumbling and disputation.”
~Philippians 2:13-14

Amen, Mitch. 🙂
Well, we are still human. Many years ago when visiting people in nursing homes who complained that their family members didn’t visit much, I realized that the fact that they spent the whole time with visitors whining might influence that. So, I made up a scripture (I know! It’s illegal.) It’s: “Monday is the day the Lord hath made for whining. But if we don’t whine on Monday, we can whine on one other day each week.” I have found in my old age, this is a challenge, but definitely makes for better relationships.
Thanks, Mitch.
Yep, it’s pretty hard to mold a wiggling piece of clay. 😉
Clay needs to be centered first other wise it wobbles and wiggles all around. Therefore, Jesus must be at the center of our lives. 😉
That’s how I get through the day, my friend! Because people are undeserving sometimes so I have to look past them to see my Lord behind them and THAT’S who I do it for! Always! So when I don’t get a thank you from people a get a “Job Well Done” from my Father 🙏 and that is so much more rewarding to me.
Mitch, it is amazing that no matter how much I wiggle and squirm, God still pursues me, He will complete his work in me!
Amen, Mitch.
That made me chuckle 🤭
I love this image and its caption . I made me laugh and, seriously, I have having a knee replacement this week (the second) so it was truly comic!
