A large percentage of the world’s trees were planted by squirrels who forgot where they put their acorns.
Before chicks hatch they peep through the shells to talk to their mothers.
Male puppies have the physical advantage, but often let female puppies win.
Cows have BFFs.
Curiousity never killed a cat (Well, OK, maybe).
Each dog’s noseprint, just like human fingerprints, is unique.
Elephant Shrews are actually related to elephants (and not shrews (“Who knew?”).
Fireflies are dying out worldwide due to air and light polution (“Don’t turn our love-lights off!).
Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey, China, are nearly extinct (“Don’t snub me!”).
Gentoo Penguins propose by presenting a pretty pebble to their lifemate.
Hoatzins have claws on their wings and use them to climb trees (“Plus I look awesome, dude!”).
Goats have regional accents (“You’re not from around here, are you?”).
Dwarf goats have incredible memories, plus they love pasta (“Plus, we’re seriously cute”).

“But I can do this. Cool, huh!”
The punishment for killing a panda in China is death (“Well, duh!”).
Vampire Squid are actually kind of cute.
Until they do this.
Munchkin Cats are sometimes called “Corgi Cats” (guess why).
Sea Otters hold hands when they sleep.
Tripod Fish have three legs they use to walk on the ocean floor.
Many species of ants are translucent!
Seahorses mate for life, and hold each others’ tails when they travel.
Handfish have four, well, hands (“I can walk too, 3-legs!”
Pika
Pika chew (Sorry, I couldn’t resist).
Macaques in Japan beg or steal coins to buy vending machine snacks.
Snails are notorious ride-hitchers (“And they never leave a tip!”).
Turtles can breath through their butts (“That’ll teach those snails!”)
“Oops!”
Squirrels adopt abandoned babies.
Snakes come in every color of the rainbow (“I couldn’t decide, so I went with ’em all”).
Tanukis (“racoon dogs”) are a national treasure in Japan.
Tanukis have even starred in their own movie “Pom Poko.”
Sweden has a rabbit show-jumping competition called Kaninhoppning.
Red Panda’s spend most of their lives in trees.
But they’ll gladly come down for a snack.
That’s an addiction I also share. There’s nothing better than time spent with animals

I sure do love animals. Just read the cutest story. A lady went to check on her barn cat and a litter of kittens and discovered that Mama Cat had added an extra orphan to her litter, a wild baby bunny. I thought that was so cute.

aawww. . nothing cuter than baby animals. . Baby goats are fun to play with, they’re so bouncy ! and like being held. I like the stories of a mama animal adopting a baby not their own species. There’s an older video on youtube of a nursing mama cat adopting newborn ducklings, and her trying to keep control over them as they got big, and they followed her around even after they were grown

I wish I could post pictures here. Anyway, did you know…A crested gecko has no eyelashes so he has to lick his eyeballs to keep them moist. I’m talkin’ ’bout my handsome little guy, Rennie.
And did you know a bunny is born completely bald — and then he gets so furry they shed like sheepdogs! (Hello, vacuum cleaner.) And if that’s not enough, they can poop on the run, leaving little prizes for you amongst the furballs. I’m talkin’ ’bout Scout the Rabbit (may he rest in peace and mischief.)
