“Hello, my name is Mitch and I’m an addict.” If I had a spare life I’d spend it caring for critters. There’s so much more to animals than we realize. The “did-you-knows?” are fascinating, and new ones are being discovered every day! (Don’t miss the info under each photo).

That’s an addiction I also share. There’s nothing better than time spent with animals
Incredible! Love these pics, Mitch!
I sure do love animals. Just read the cutest story. A lady went to check on her barn cat and a litter of kittens and discovered that Mama Cat had added an extra orphan to her litter, a wild baby bunny. I thought that was so cute.
🧡
Animals are so fascinating! Love those pics too!
Anyone who loves animals is a friend of mine!
I too love animals, Mitch. I really enjoyed the photos and captions. Have a wonderful weekend.
You too, Mags.
The one with the squirrel holding the baby… my heart!
🧡
Fascinating!
Simply wonderful!
Gorgeous!
Aww I absolutely love this and I love this absolutely, Mitch 🙂
🧡
Awesome pictures
Love the beautiful photos and the facts about the animals! Going to show this to my grandchildren next weekend when I visit. Have a happy day!
You too, my Anonymous friend!
Hi, Mitch. (From the animal addicts circle.) I enjoy the company of animals. We seem to get along. I hope you have happy times with the animal encounters in your life.
Likewise, Christopher.
aawww. . nothing cuter than baby animals. . Baby goats are fun to play with, they’re so bouncy ! and like being held. I like the stories of a mama animal adopting a baby not their own species. There’s an older video on youtube of a nursing mama cat adopting newborn ducklings, and her trying to keep control over them as they got big, and they followed her around even after they were grown

Hello. I am Jeanne. I too am an animal addict, and proudly so. 🙂
❣
🙂 🙂 🙂
Wonderful pictures, interesting facts. I’m addicted to sheep, so I was sorry not to see a sheep photo, but the otters more made up for it 😂
I just wake up and it made me so happy to look at this!
❣
Oh, what would the world be without critters. Your photos are so sweet and deserve a smile.
Awww, wow, ewww! Thanks, Mitch!
My pleasure, Dana!
These are some very interesting facts. Thank you for sharing them, Mitch.
My pleasure, Smitha.
Amazing!
So am I ! 🙂
I am also addicted to animals….. especially…… a big juicy steak!
Love this!!
I love your opening gambit…in my retirement that is exactly what I am doing–caring for critters, the cats and the squirrels. But, be careful what you wish for.
Thanks for the heads-up, DK. Keep critter-caring!
I must confess – I’m with you. I think the world would be a much better place with more dogs and horses and less people…
Fascinating animal facts! Adult squirrels that adopt orphaned baby squirrels is a good reason to love them. 🙂
Awww. I can’t help your addiction as I’M addicted as well (AND I can’t help but make cute sounds when I see them!). Monkeys, the baby squirrel, and the otters really got me! 💚 Thank you for being honest about your addiction and supplying mine! Tee hee
;>)
Loved all the pictures.
Love this post! I’m fascinated by animals and their worlds!
Love 💕 this post 😄
Absolutely awesome, Mitch. 💖
Thanks, Sandy.
Great pics Mitch.
The octopuses are so pretty!
I’m an animal addict too!
The Vampire squid is really cool… lol. 🙂
I agree!
Those animal pictures are indeed amazing
Fun post
Thanks!
Gli animali sono i nostri compagni di vita su questo pianeta♥️🐶🐈⬛
Ci sono infatti, Paola❣

I love the photo of the snake—it looks unique, dangerous, yet incredibly beautiful.”
I don’t know if it’s dangerous, Livora (most snakes aren’t). But, yes, it certainly is beautiful.
Amazing photos, Mitch!
What, no phasmatodeans?😉
Right you are, C.J. Phasmids are fascinating critters.
Great selection of photos, Mitch. Just an FYI – Despite tapping on the individual photos to enlarge them, I couldn’t make the slideshow work, nor could I see the captions. 🤷♀️
Sadly, that happens a lot, Terry (just another ongoing WordPress glitch). I find the slideshow function comes and goes. The slideshow worked two out of the five times I visited the post today.
Whew! Then it’s not from this end then. Thanks for clarifying, Mitch!
I wish I could post pictures here. Anyway, did you know…A crested gecko has no eyelashes so he has to lick his eyeballs to keep them moist. I’m talkin’ ’bout my handsome little guy, Rennie.
And did you know a bunny is born completely bald — and then he gets so furry they shed like sheepdogs! (Hello, vacuum cleaner.) And if that’s not enough, they can poop on the run, leaving little prizes for you amongst the furballs. I’m talkin’ ’bout Scout the Rabbit (may he rest in peace and mischief.)
Love the photos. Thanks for the fun.
Our first “child” was a rabbit, so I know what you mean. Great to hear from you, Paula!
Love the photos, but I’m addicted to animals, too 🙂
Oh very cool 😎 I love animals ❤️ thanks again for your continued support 😀
My pleasure, Anna.
Aww, the panda looks sad! I hope he’s ok?
