    Happy New Year Mitch!

  2. Some of my favorite verses! 😊 As the world celebrates a new year, we (believers) can celebrate new beginnings every day. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

  3. Carol Baldwin says:

I loved this. As an author who is about to be published by Monarch Press, (owned by a Christian with many Christian authors) I particularly resonated not only with the verses, but also the picture of the monarch. Where did you find it?

The photo seems to be viral, Carol. I’ve seen in a lot of places, but can’t find the original source. I took the liberty of adding the verse because the image fit it so well.

  4. Seeing anyone “as they are” is quite transforming. And seeing “things as they are” is a lifelong task. A very tricky one. Happy New Year, Mitch.

Happy New Year, and new You too 🙂
I feel it is the trauma resolution, and whatever went badly for us in our lives, that makes us New, again and again. So, this does strike a cord with me.

btw, please delete this comment – but just feel annoyed, I want to like your post and it says: loading. I find this happening very often, especially on your page, for some reason. Or maybe it’s my oldish chrome-notebook (3 or 4 years old) that needs changing…

Sadly, no, it’s not your computer, Maria. Others have told me they can’t like or comment on my posts, but when I report it to WordPress, they say they see no evidence of it. It happens to other bloggers as well. I see it all the time, so I sent WordPress a list of links to some of those sites. The reply was that these people “chose” those “settings.” When I suggested that “don’t let Like finish loading” isn’t a “choice,” they ignored my respose.

  7. Antique Works says:

    Amen!

  8. K.L. Hale says:

    Amen, Mitch!!

  9. Dr. Ernie says:

When I saw this, I first thought it was a teaser for the (promised?!) sequel to The Wishing Map…

  10. Willie Torres Jr. says:

    Amen 🙌
