I got a Maltese puppy a few months ago. I never owned a dog before. He could win an award for barking at absolutely nothing. HA! He can be a pain at times, but he’s my pain. My companion.

I looked after my daughter’s Chihuaha for a year or two. Did my self esteem a lot of good. As I walked him down the cliffside walk looking out over the Pacific everyone said to me”Que bonito” (How lovely)” After taking Mango to England to be with my daughter, the comments on on walks suddenly stopped. I love animals too but…as a kid who grew up on a ranch/farm and spent a lot of time shoveling out corrals, chicken houses, and dirt tanks, I can think of one thing lol
