    Happy Trinity Sunday!
    God the Father, creator of all things physical was not a physical being. He became a physical being in the incarnation of his son, Jesus. Jesus taught the mind. He also healed the body and even brought some back from death! But life only returned at the breathing in of the Spirit. We can now know God physically, mentally and spiritually and only God could have worked out those details!

    We have a perfect Father…and sons, may sometime be of the prodigal type, and as he returns to his perfect father; in perfect defeat and dejection from all he learned of his father not to do, he returns…and there is rejoicing and perfect re-union. For the son, he was maddened, and in return, he is made sane.

      Ironically, “Jesus Christ, save us from this rot!” would actually be a pretty legitimate prayer for a Jesus-follower, Chris. Although I suspect that’s not your intended sentiment here. It’s interesting how saturated our language and expressions are with “this rot” which so apparently disgusts you. E.g. Your use of the expletive “Jesus Christ,” as well as the phrases “Oh, brother” and “save us.” Oh yeah, and your name “Chris,” short for Christopher (Christophoros in the Greek), “Christ-bearer.”

    Wow, Mitch! Thank you for this great promise from God! My children don’t speak to me, and haven’t for a couple of years. I know God has spoken to my heart about this, and has said He is going to restore my relationship with my kids, but it feels better seeing it in writing!
