So I cut it out of my junior high yearbook, and burned it (Mom saved a copy). Right: Me at bloggerogical age 12 (look, I invented a new word, Mom!). I turned 12 today (in blogger years)! Wow, my twelfth blogiversary! I had no idea when I started all those years ago:
- That I’d ever have more than a handful of followers.
- That I’d develop real and meaningful friendships in the process.
- How supportive* those friends would be of my projects (writing, films, music).
So, thank you! Because you’re the reason I’m still here, and the reason this blog site is such a big part of my life!
*And thank you for your kind words and prayers regarding my current post-medical-procedure side effects. The pain has nearly disappeared! I still visit the restroom 150 times a day, but clinic says this should clear up “eventually.”

Congratulations on the 12 years of blogging. I, too, have been blogging for 12 years on WordPress, and about another year and a half on a different site before that. When a reader told me that one of my blogs changed her life, first, I cried, but then I realized this is a ministry and not building a platform for me. I also vowed to never miss a deadline. I understand how hard it can be to come up with content, and then there is you who publishes 7 days a week! (Show off!)
