Embarrassing Side Effects

My Real Memoir

I’ve been unable to work on my normal memoir post for today due the embarrassing side effects of a recent medical procedure. Seriously, gag photo aside, I really did have a supposedly “simple” procedure, and the consequences have been not only embarrassing, but extremely painful. I’m currently waiting to hear back from the clinic (prayers appreciated). Meanwhile, feel free to read My Real Memoir from the start by clicking here. Or choose from recent episodes by clicking here.

The Holy Spirit, who is one with Jesus, who is one with the Father who is Jehovah Rapha, God our Healer, is dwelling within. How can anything but health long persist in the face of that power? Praying wholeheartedly, with these other folks, for wherever two or three are gathered…

  37. beth says:

    hope you’re feeling better soon

  38. That sounds rough Mitch. Praying all gets resolved and you are back to fighting fit soon. 🙏❤️

  39. jeanvivace says:

  40. Bludgeon says:

Hui! Shocking. All the best to you. Fingers crossed!

    • mitchteemley says:

Thanks, Bludgeon! (May I ask your name, btw?)

      • Bludgeon says:

No, sorry. Before my Retirement starts I was a teacher. And thats why I like to stay anonymous in the net. So my pupils can not find my thoughts.
The name ,,Bludgeon” comes from a Western, done by DEFA, in East Germany 1968. The bad guy there has this nickname. And in the end he will be killed by the good guy, an Dakota-Chief. The wide watching Hawk. Dakotas are my Hero-Tribe since my younger days. That’s a big difference to the Mainstream in the US, I guess. Your little kids wanna be Sheriffs and Cowboys. Our kids wanna be Indian-Chiefs. Heroes of free livin’.
Now you think: Why he choose the bad guys name? – The funny thing is: It was a socialist Regime in 1968, and the Chief-State was the USSR; but the Movie Crew made the bad guy look like Lenin. – A hidden message, I think. Ambiguous. A kind of contraband in ,,the cold war days”.

  41. Fifienne says:

    Geçmiş olsun ☘️

Hoping everyday gets a little better, Mitch. BTW I’m loving your memoir. 😊

Im sending healing thoughts for a full recovery, and the gag photo is so clever! But seriously, I hope your side effects are sorted out soon.

  44. Phil Strawn says:

Mitch, it takes a lot of guts to write about such things. I’m a bit squishy when it comes to exposing the reluctance of my body to corporate. Heal fast and well, and God be with you in this journey.

  45. Ab says:

    Hope you get well soon!

  46. Hope discomfort is soon a distant memory Mitch🌸

  61. bruce@ssa says:

We always refer to them as simple procedures, but we also know doctors are “practicing” medicine. It is not a perfect science. You are in my prayers, Mitch. Feel better soon.

  62. I do hope you feel better soon, Mitch. I added you to my daily prayers.

  63. I hope you’re feeling better soon! I have to go back in for a repeat of a “simple procedure” because of, apparently, doctor error during the first go-round, and am not looking forward to it at all …
