“Do not waste time bothering whether you ‘love’ your neighbor; act as if you did. As soon as we do this, we find one of the great secrets. When you are behaving as if you loved someone, you will presently come to love them.” ~C. S. Lewis

My pleasure as always. Btw, what’s your name, new friend?
Dawn
Good to officially meet you, Dawn!
🤝 hahaha Thank you ! 🌸.
Such beautiful pictures! Amazing
Wholly amazing photos
I completely agree.
Some would make a nice painting I think.
The heart of these words and pictures is life-changing! Attitude adjustment for the day…
√ done! Thank you, Mitch!! ☺️
My pleasure, dear friend!
A fine romp of pics and words. Thanks for making my afternoon, Mitch!
Happy to do so, Grant!
Thanks, Mitch. Loved the child and gopher!
Yes! Actions speak louder than words.
Ahh, so true! We can talk ourselves so quickly into negativity while we don’t consider the same ability to positivity. “Act as if” with everything we wish to have in our lives.
I love the one with the kid playing the banjo for the dog.
Great photographs. I think the little boy with the marmot is my favorite. ♥️
Oops, sorry — I think this ended up in the wrong place. 😵💫
Marmots are irresistible little critters!
Love the pictures!
In some cases Mitch, one can not love his neighbor.
A ungodly man that sells drugs, has several gun charges, abuses his dogs, child and family members isn’t on my love list.
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:10

Jesus tells us to not only love our neighbors, but our enemies, Cora. But that doesn’t mean approving of or supporting everything they do. It might mean, for example, exposing someone for committing a terrible crime, but then praying for them and visiting them in prison.
Understood, Mitch, thank you!
Unless I hear directly from our Heavenly Father to move in anyway I’ll wait and trust Him.
I’ve prayed for them like Jesus instructs us to do in Matthew 5:44.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
I hope one day they will repent and except Jesus our Lord and King one day.
You can love people you don’t like.
How?
The same way we love our enemies. Loving someone means willing that person’s good. You can will the good even of someone you dislike. I know it’s possible because I’ve done it, and there’s nothing special about me — if I can do it, anyone can.
The lion holding the meerkat is my fav!
Inspiration for a sketch in the future.
I love, love, LOVE these tender animal pics. My two favorites are the gopher and the kid and the dog resting atop the elephant’s head. Thanks for sharing these, Mitch! 🙂
My pleasure, as always, Nancy. I enjoy curating these themed photoblogs.
I love seeing different species of animals cuddling.
Cute! We can learn so much from our animals in the wild.
Wonderful pics! Love is love! Maybe we could learn from our animal friends to love those different than us. Great post, Mitch!
Thanks, Peggy, and yes, I think we can.
Us humans could learn a lot from these animals. Thanks for sharing Mitch. 💕
My pleasure, Sandy.
Lovely photos, Mitch!
A loving post to be sure, Mitch. Big smile after seeing these.🙂
Awesome pics! Sure-fire way to lift someone’s mood! Thanks for sharing
My pleasure, Emm.
