Two Things in Life You Can’t Fake:
Singing and sincerity. People may not tell you, but they know instantly when you’re off-key. So, before you go out on stage, make sure your heart is in tune.
“Sincerity makes the very least person to be of more value than the most talented hypocrite.” ~Charles Spurgeon
“If you’re trying to prove your heart is in the right place–it isn’t.” ~David Schmidtz

I really like this analogy, Mitch.
Yes, both music and relationships sound better when they are genuine.
Thanks, Rakesh.
Excellent point, Mitch. I’ve met a few people in real life who I connected with online in chat rooms and before that, message boards. Every single one of them was exactly, in person, the wonderful person I perceived them to be from online interactions. I have a few blogging pals I also hope to meet in person someday. As the popular new catchphrase goes, “When you know, you know”.
I agree, Terry. I’ve had the same online-to-in-person experience with a number of people.
**A beautiful reminder that sincerity speaks louder than perfection. Whether in words or song, authenticity is what truly touches hearts.** 🎶❤️
