Portraits of smoking children with their pet chickens were very popular in the early 20th century.
Whereas boys were typically photographed smoking next to chickend, girls were usually photgraphed standing on alligators.
And men preferred being photographed sitting at pianos on top of ladies in swimsuits.
Little known fact: Most photography was done by cats until later in the 20th century.
