It’s Friday But Sunday’s Coming

It's Friday, But Sunday's ComingFrom Malcolm in the Middle

What Does the ‘T’ on the Wall Stand For?

It’s Friday, but Sunday’s coming.

That’s what it stands for.

“We are Easter people living in a Good Friday world.” ~Barbara Johnson

“The cross was heavy, but His love was heavier still.” ~Fritz Isaacs

“Unless there is a Good Friday in your life, there can be no Easter Sunday.” ~Fulton J. Sheen

“If you were the only person on earth, Christ would have still suffered and died for you.” ~St. Augustine

I love the bumper stickers! Yes, without good Friday there wouldn’t be Easter. Happy Easter Mitch!

This has put a zillion thoughts into my head yet left me speechless. How true but sad that our awesome God is not recognised by so many 💕

Love the question, “What’s the T on the wall?”

  6. Thanks goodness for Sunday! Can you imagine what it must have been like to see the open and empty tomb?

  7. Love these! Especially the last two. I recognized some from “Inherit the Mirth” greeting cards. (I remember standing in the book store reading them and laughing my head off, as my daughter pretended not to know me.)

Love the Barbara Johnson quote. I need to remember that one when life seems unfair, Christians are persecuted for their faith, the Bible is derided, and God is disrespected. One day all will be made right!

May I never boast in anything, except the love of Jesus Christ.

Happy Easter, Mitch. I love that Barbara Johnson quote. Had a wonderful Good Friday with hot cross buns, a short walk with the cross where I asked my grandkids to think about what the cross they were helping to carry really means, and then a wonderful service, where the Minister explained to the children why it’s called “Good” Friday. An important day that is just a day off for so many.

    Eggs 🤣🤣.

  16. Bookstooge says:

The whole eggs thing is why I now make sure to call it Resurrection Sunday and not Easter. It is time to celebrate what it actually is about.

Thanks for the chuckles. Happy Easter to you!

  19. Loved these. The first one’s a little scary because it may ring painfully true on occasion. 🙂
