    Indeed there was a time when even the United Nations was led by people with a heart for God. I pray that one day that will again be the case.

    This reminds me of a quote I’ve long liked from his successor, U Thant, who hailed from Burma, now Myanmar. I think in 1962, he said: ‘In the final third of the 20th century, the mark of a cultivated individual will be that he considers himself a citizen of the entire planet.’
