To Live in Perfect Peace

“Peace is simplicity of heart, serenity of mind, tranquility of the soul, the bond of love. Peace means order, harmony in our whole being… It is the holy joy of a heart in which God reigns.” ~Padre Pio of Pietrelcina

For me, peace means going through life with an open heart while never losing sight of what it means to be human. Empathy, sensitivity, respect, loyalty, and gratitude are not just words to me. They are values I truly believe in and try to share with others from the heart.

I’ve learned that inner peace sometimes also means letting go in order to stay true to yourself. Because we can’t change everything, and we can’t reach everyone. But we can choose the attitude with which we move through life and what we bring into the world.

I wish we could all meet one another with a little more kindness, truly listen to each other, and see the good in one another. Because sometimes it’s the smallest gestures, an honest word, or a little understanding that can mean more to someone than we will ever know.

To me, that’s where peace begins: within ourselves and in what we give to others from the heart.

    I’m truly grateful to you

    Warm wishes,
    Michael
