Forget zombies and frozen princesses. The people below have gone way beyond the obvious. I loved creating unique Halloween decorations and costumes as a kid. But nowadays I leave that to the trick-or-treaters who show up at our front door. And if anyone displays this kind of creativity, they’re gonna score beaucoup candy!

Funny post my dear. We needed this now haha 😂 I’m glad to see your posts, always ❤️
So glad you enjoyed it, Afrodite.
I LOVE these! The Picasso painting, Peter Pan and his shadow, the Pisbury Doughboy – adorable!💕
Some great sayings here, Mitch. And, some awesome images too!
Glad you enjoyed it, Sean!
I had to open/click-on the son as the father and father as the son picture to see it, but once I did, I was amazed. What a cool picture.
Great pics and Great quotes
Pablo Picasso was right. Anything you can imagine.
Hey kids – back in the day we had to make our own costumes ! – the store bought ones the were few and rather cheap looking, . . . I clearly remember in the grade school costume contest, the winner one year was a boy who came as a shower ! He had a long cardboard box with a cut-out section at the top that had thin strips of cellophane attached inside, to replicate water in a shower. Very clever, and funny.
The Taco Belle picture, love it ! – funny and creative. 30 years ago I saw a kid as a burrito, wrapped in silver Mylar with green, red, white and brown fabric pieces shaped as the burrito contents at the top by his neck.
Love the shower costume. Now, that was a clever kid!
Wow! These are incredible! The first one is amazing and I can’t figure out the guy beside himself. Very clever! Our 12 yr old grandson is dressing as a wild boar! We have yet to see his costume.
That’s a wild choice. Enjoy, Nancy!
Love the Marshmallow Baby! 🎃
These are incredibly creepy images, especially the half boy. And Einstein’s quote is my favorite because he is absolutely right. Thanks for the entertainment, Mitch! 🙂
My pleasure, Nancy.
LOL! Those are great! I appreciate people’s creativity. 🙂
My family, at that young age didn’t have much money to spend on Halloween costumes. I usually painted my face with my mother’s makeup and turned myself into a something or another. We got candy, that was all that mattered, and we ate that surgery crap for weeks afterward, adding to my parents’ anxiety. Halloween has turned into a multi-billion-dollar night for most of America. What most Americans don’t know is the satanic reasoning for this night of begging. If most folks researched it, they would be appalled.
It’s true that a lot of Halloween traditions (not all) have pagan roots, Phil. However, many sources trace kids coming to the door for a treat back to the Christian “soul cakes” tradition. In exchange for prayers, children would be given sweet cakes.
I read that some years ago. I guess once the Pagans got hold of it, this is what we are left with. Same with Christmas and he holidays invented by Hallmark and retailers. Walmart skipped Thanksgiving this year and went from Halloween directly to Christmas. I was in Walmart a few days ago, and I rarely go, and the garden department and half the store is all Christmas decor and Elvis was singing Christmas songs over the PA.
In praise of the almighty (buck, that is).
There are definitely some bizarre and over-the-top Halloween costumes. I loved the baby carrot, Van Gogh, father & son switch, and Taco Belle. 😂🤣😆
Wow, that’s really true creativity 👏 👌 thanks for sharing
My pleasure, Yusif.
Love it — especially the father-as-son/son-as-father! 👍😊
Wow – lots of great ones!
I like this “Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen.”
I have borrowed this one rabbit from you now I just need a soul mate for this one 🤗

Entertaining! Thanks for sharing these images!
My pleasure, Vanya!
Happy Halloween, Mitch.
Can’t imagine there’s anywhere quite like LA for Halloween.
These are amazing! I have a little crush on rocket raccoon so i love the last one!
Halloween is the time to get creative, Popped in two stories about the Devil on Vocal Media and sharing a previously done Halloween music post. That is about as far as I go now that I am alone and Halloween only means some memories and watching scary movies, I hope you have a great weekend and welcome to November,
Thanks, Rasma, you too!
