Your quote is wonderful, Mitch. I pray to be more and more like Him. I have a looooong way to go :):)
Me too, Margaret. Let’s keep going.
Good quotes. These are keepsakes.
Wonderful thoughts, Mitch!
Had to chew on this one a bit, but now it’s in my soul and is there to stay! Thank you! 🙂
The honor’s mine, Squid.
Amen… The more I know HIM, the more I LOVE HIM… and the more I LOVE MY LIFE! GOD IS SO GOOD! Thank you, Mitch! I love the work the Lord does in and through YOU! BLESSINGS ALWAYS!!!
Ditto, Dori!
Thank you, Mitch! 🙂
This verse reminds me of an old song by James Ward—“I Wish That I Could Ask,” from the album James Ward Himself: “Whatever I want, I wait for, /And what I will be, will be revealed. / But what I want, that I’m not doing. / When will my flesh ever be healed?” And so on. Now I see that this verse may have been in Ward’s mind as he wrote the song?
Sounds like it was, Sandi.
Well said, Mitch, and so true! Statement #1 results because we’re created in his image (Genesis 1:26); statement #2 because we derive much pleasure from reflecting him “with ever-increasing glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18). And, as 1 John 3:2 makes clear, there is more wonder yet to be revealed. Thank you for the inspiring thoughts, Mitch!
Amen squared.
Amen, brother.
