‘Round now we’re all pining to revel in spring
But seasonal timing’s no guaranteed thing
Transitional days like these are un-scenic
Thermometers glaze and turn schizophreenic
So stop being moody and “so over winter”
Put on your hoodie and celebrate sprinter!

Well, if that isn’t the truth, I don’t know what is!!! Mornings have been sunny here in Prescott Valley, AZ… and then when I left work yesterday, it was raining! And we had hail the day before. 🤷🏼♀️😅 Sprinter is definitely a time to go with the flow, enjoy what comes with a smile, and carry an umbrella! ☔️
Yes!
It was in the mid-70’s here last week and everyone had shorts on. We had snow flurries yesterday morning and temps are headed for the 20’s at night this week. Happy Sprinter to one and all!
:>O
Today I’m getting a new lawn mower. I’m also refueling my snowblower ’cause they’re predicting 3 inches of snow tomorrow. That’s just life in Wisconsin.
;>) I wonder if anyone make a combination machine, Rob, a sort of ‘snow mower?’
What a great idea. Let’s invent it; we’ll make millions!,
I’m in.
I hope Spranta Klaws comes this Sprinter!
;>)
When it comes to weather in my neck of the woods, que sera, sera.
Exactimundo!
😀
The wildflowers are beginning to bloom here in North Central Texas – there is no going back to winter!
LOL, happy sprinter, Mitch!
Thanks, Priscilla!
Poems that rhyme-love them! Happy sprinter! 🙂
Thanks, Nancy!
Our temp is currently 29℉. It’s super windy and we’re having snow flurries. It’s snowed the past 3 days.
C’mon, Spring! I know you can do it! 😀 🌸🐇🐝🌷
;>)
Splendid wordplay! 👌
Thanks, Ana!
Perfect new term to describe the seasons!
The possibility of shovelable precip looms this weekend. I’m okay with that. Happy sprinter! God bless!
Hah! “The possibility of shovelable precip looms.” She could have written, “I heard it might snow,” right? But, no, this is how WRITERS talk, people! ;>)
Yes, this is the reality where I live too. You’ve helped me find some humor in it 😄
Delighted to hear that!
Autumn here 😉 I’m looking forward to Winter! Our Spring/Summer humidity has been unbearable this time around! We’re in Autumn and we’re STILL experiencing ‘unbreathable humid air’! Come on, Winter, you can do it 😉

Good Morning Mitch, I know you all have a colder winter than us, but Spring has sprung here. The Old Farmers Almanac said our last frost date was the 18th and it looks like they’re right again. Stay warm on those Sprinter days!
Thanks, Gregory!
