Our Journey Together

And the moment we think we are taking this journey alone, we have lost our way. Let us double back and find our travelling companions, and rediscover the One who put our feet on this path.

Together.

  1. That is a great suggestion for a beautiful Sunday morning-if one has lost their way! 🙂

This is just lovely, especially at this particular time in our history when we are so divided & we need to be reminded ….

“Double Back” Sounds like a book or movie (book first?) title with lots of double meaning potential.

  8. I just couldn’t agree more with the quote on the fabulous photo. It’s taken me 76 years but I’ve finally found a community that I can be myself in – and be accepted and loved!

I think it must be easier to see footprints in the sand when the sand is cool and fine grained. But when the sand is blistering hot, and rough, and our lips our dry and chapped from thirst and our tummies our bloated from hunger, then do we still stop and contemplate our footprints or contemplate those who walk our paths? And do we still sing praise to whomever set us on this fateful painful path?

Speaking for myself, Chuck, yes. I’ll save the “Why does God allow suffering” discussion for another time, though, since a Reply box isn’t the most effective forum for that.
