  13. Yes indeed the line between courageous and stupid is a thin one. And sometimes the former requires a bit of the latter.

  15. I believe the difference between courage and stupidity depends on what you hope to achieve.
    If you risk pain by invading Normandy to save Western civilization, or by running into a burning building to rescue someone who’s trapped inside, that’s courage.
    If you risk pain by running into the lion’s cage at the zoo yelling, “Here kitty, kitty,” to see if it will play with you, that’s stupidity.

    Sometimes it seems glaringly obvious; other times, there is a fine line between courage and stupidity. And agreed, humour makes it hurt less!
