You make it look like a party to lose an hour of sleep. 💤

Here in Arizona we just stay in the slow lane and watch everyone else change. Great pictures you’ve shared!

  3. My favorite time of year! My doggo starts waking up at a more reasonable hour again.

  4. Bah Humbug!! The whole country should emulate Arizona..

  5. beth says:

I just adjusted to the last change )

  6. Hahaha! For a split second, I almost looked forward to DST.
A very creative and well-written piece.
    Thanks for sharing. 🇨🇦 🍁

If this post doesn’t get us excited about Spring, what does? 😍

  8. No more time changes! I like getting up to an early daybreak!

  9. Todd R says:

I wish I had the enthusiasm shown in these pictures over losing an hour of sleep. Maybe next year.

  10. I’m old and I’m going to ignore it lol it isn’t possible to save daylight and trying to control time is the height of government arrogance. Besides, when they change the clocks old folks die from heart attacks and strokes so, I’m sticking to God’s time. lol

  11. That was fun, Mitch!

Here’s another vote to do away with DST! I love the sunshine in the morning. (That is, when the clouds aren’t hanging out here in the Ohio Valley, which they seem inclined to do!) If I recall, there are more accidents during the first couple of weeks of DST as people adjust. Why contribute to that?!

    • dkzody says:

YES! I want my sunshine in the morning, not at night when I’m ready to go to bed after a very busy day that started EARLY in the morning.

    • Since I also live in the Ohio Valley and haven’t seen much of the sun lately, it’s not much of an issue with me. It was when my kids were in school and had to catch a bus in the mornings at 5 a.m. I had to drive them the quarter mile to the bus stop to make sure they got there alive. But now that I’m in assisted living I’m awake at 4 a.m. whether it is light or dark, and never asleep before midnight, so I’m not sure that it makes a difference for me now. It is an outdated thing though, put into action before WWI to save electricity and gas, if I remember correctly.

      • Nancy Ruegg says:

Oh my goodness, KA24! Catching a school bus at 5:00 a.m?! That is insanely early!! / That bit of history about DST is interesting. You’ve got me wondering, if a vote was taken, how many people would say NO to DST?

        • Most of us. It was continued after the war, according to some of the people who remembered, so the country club people could get in more afternoon light to play golf. Money talks I guess. It doesn’t seem very fair to me though.

  13. The clocks will change and we’ll lose an hour of sleep-but the cat that’s freefalling looks like it’ll lose its life! Great images, Mitch. 🙂

  14. Great springing photos!

I love sleeping in… so when it’s still dark outside, I can scrunch down in my comforter with a feeling of acceptability… aaaah, still dark.

On the back end, it stays lighter later. Win-win! 😎🏄‍♂️

  22. Thanks for the reminder Mitch. I almost forgot, LOL! Love the pic’s. The lamb, bunnies and the frog are cute! God bless you and your family. Best wishes for a great weekend!
