The part of me that claims to be Irish
salutes the part of you that claims to be Irish!
(Actually, my ancestry is about half Irish, and I’m absurdly proud of that half.)

are the men that God made mad,
for all their wars are merry,
and all their songs are sad.”
~G.K. Chesterton
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
Ah, quit yer ructions and givin’ out, I know it’s tomorrow, sure, but I’m celebratin’ it today! (And tomorrow!)

Everyone is a little Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. 🙂
hehe, my great grandpa was from Roscommon in Ireland.
Ah, I KNEW we had some great blatherin’ blarney in our backgrounds alike, somewhere! 😆☘️
I am a Boston Celtics fan
;>)
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you (tomorrow), Mitch!
Thanks, Kellye!
I claim to be of no Irish heritage (all Polish) but on St. Patrick’s Day, I am know to my Irish friends as Madeline O’Bialecki. Slainte.
Slainte, Madailéin!
Well done, you.
;))
Yes it is good to have a bit of Irish. Our younger son was born on St Patrick’s day which was mother’s day as well that year . A day to remember. Enjoy the day.
Thanks, Sandy!
P.S. Where do you live? I ask because in the U.S. Mother’s Day is the 2nd Sunday in May.
In England Mother’s day is the third Sunday in March so the date varies.
Saint Patrick certainly was a driving force in getting all those snakes relocated. Glad he was at the wheel!
;>)
Happy St. Patty’s day!
Thanks, Willow!
I am 76.1% ‘British and Irish,’ according to my 23andMe DNA test. One of my great-grandmother’s had the maiden name ‘Patrick.’ With my green eyes and zillions of freckles, I look very Irish, indeed.
Tomorrow, as I do every St. Patrick’s Day, I will wear the t-shirt that I had specially made. Above the big green Shamrock it says ‘Yes, I Am Irish.’ Beneath the Shamrock: ‘No, You May Not Kiss Me.’. 😀
;>)
I just love that cartoon!
Me too, Liz.
Where green and be seen!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Mitch!
Thank you, Teri (I’m afraid I don’t know your actual name)!
Happy St Patrick’s Day! I’m 1/4 Irish and proud of that too 😊 Maggie
With a name like Maggie how could you not be?
As someone said, “It’s St. Pattys Day somewhere!” I think.
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! Love the cartoon and the Chesterson quote. I am of Italian heritage but once a year I’m Irish!
;>)
Yes, Erin go braugh!! 🇮🇪🍀
As well as being Saint Patrick’s Day, it’s the birth date of Patrick Bronte (father of the famous Bronte writers). He was born on the 17th March, 1777 in County Down, Northern Ireland.
Five more people we have to thank Ireland for!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day Green !
Pure awesomeness, Mitch 😂🤣😂

I’m about a quarter Irish ― we’ll see if I can manage to remember to wear green for once!
I’m half Irish, even if my name is fully Irish. The entire month of March is Irish-American Heritage Month, so I’m celebrating all month long! Éirinn go Brách!
Sláinte, brother!
