    Pride is one of my closest followers. Keep your enemies closer. I call it arrogance – makes me draw deeper into His goodness and mercy. Much prefer that my life is hidden with Christ in God.

    In one very good book I read… actually studied… (Catholic catechism) the seven Christian virtues (heavenly virtues) refer to the union of two sets of virtues…. prudence, justice, temperance and courage (or fortitude), coupled with three theological virtues (Paul), are faith, hope, and charity (or love). How often is love (the greatest..perhaps ONLY virtue) mistaken for sin?

      The go-to example on that topic, of course, is homosexual love, especially within the confines of marriage. Although the Bible does not use the Greek word for romantic love or physical attraction when it speaks of “love” (charity); the word “agape” represents a higher, more selfless form. Do you have other examples in mind of love being mistaken for sin?
