A beautiful interpretation of the reasons for life and its existence. In truth, the question is always this: are we the only ones who wonder about this, or are there other creatures who also wonder and, like us, let life take its course?

Comes as a bit of a surprise; no, shock! I am in the “life has no meaning” camp 🙂
One can only assume that no other creature asks “why”. Humans are so narcissistic, believing they are “it”.
My wife and my experience with animals has shown, if they don’t have to forage and worry about being in constant peril, they can be rather “other worldly” responding to our pain, sorrows, joy….
Then again, maybe they don’t have to ask “why” they already KNOW!
I’m inclined to think your last sentence is the likeliest, Joe. But then, our Creator, who loves all of his creatures, really knows.
