Q. What’s wrong with this picture?

A. It should have been you (and me).

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” ~Romans 3:23

“But God proves His love for us in this: that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  ~Romans 5:8

“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”  ~John 15:13

Yes, it truly is a Good Friday.

    So right on! What I love about this painting is that there are no nails holding Jesus on the cross. His love is holding him there. I also love that He is hanging above the world (evert continent). His love is universal and his death transcends time and space!

    A truly moving painting by Dali to remind us that Christ defeated Satan in the most important battle of all time and He did it not with a sword but by giving His life.
