Unlikely Heroes

Not all heroes wear uniforms. Some simply wear their hearts on their sleeves. They may do nothing more than smile when they see someone in need of a smile. But make no mistake — in those moments, they are heroes. And as long as we have both kinds of heroes, likely and unlikely, there’ll be hope for the human race.

Can we cover up all racist, intolerant garbage with kitties and puppies?

Talk about pulling my heart strings, and getting me choked up. (which is easy to do these days, crazy hormones!) But thanks, wonderful post that yes, does restore faith in humanity! <3

So many great stories its hard to pick one. Love the prime minister walking the down’s syndrome child, the Irish helping Native Americans and of course the president with His Secret Service men!

I’d like a weekly TV show telling uplifting and true stories just like these. (IS there such a program and I’m just unaware?) We sorely need to replace some of the negativity on the airwaves with positivity.

What an exciting and uplifting collection of people. I will always choose to believe that there are more of THESE people walking the earth than the other kind… the ones we see in the nightly news.

Thank you for the reminder there are so many amazing people in this world. Media tends to overlook the good in this world. It just doesn’t make for good copy or ratings. I tend to think that all we hear about is a small minority that simply causes major consequences. God’s kids are pretty good when it all comes down to it…

There IS still goodness in the world. Hugs to you for helping us to find it…
