There’s a whiff of the miraculous in how much unexpected beauty there is in the world. But perhaps more miraculous still is the fact that humans (even those without eyesight) are able to see it. If they only will.

And finally, a moment of unexpected beauty from the film American Beauty.

So much natural beauty everywhere.
Nature is a miracle and each picture demonstrates that!
Oh that glasswing butterfly …
Amazingly beautiful! And so much of it unexpected as somethings changes from something ordinary to something wonderful under the microscope. The Lord certainly was lavish in His creation so that we could experience all this beauty.
One image is more stunning than the next. Wondrous…and uplifting, Mitch. (And although ALL are mesmerizing, the banana slice? Wow!) xo! 🥰
I know, Vicki. Who would have thought?

Oh my goodness! That’s hilarious! 😜🥰😜
It’s been happening with increasing frequency. I hate people thinking I ignored their comments!
Very unique pictures Mitch. I really liked the gecko with the leopard spots. Amazing designs in things if one is paying attention. God’s work is truly amazing!
Indeed it is!

Better late than never. Thank goodness you finally did get the responses.
some very beautiful pictures
Absolutely! I think we have to make a conscious effort in seeing the beauty of the small things in the world. In my experience, this is tied to some degree – with happiness.
Indeed, yes!
Astute observation, Johan.

Very cool, Mitch! I like how we put together the words “truth and beauty,” as if they are related, because somewhere inside we know they really are even if we can’t explain it.
Perhaps you are familiar with Keats’ “Beauty is truth, truth, beauty ~ that is all ye know in this life, and all ye need to know.”
WP has a site you may enjoy, also, named “Sunnyside: Where Truth and Beauty Meet.”
Thank you! I’ll look into it. 🙂
Tell ‘er Ana sent you 👍
Great feedback, Gabrielle and Ana.

Great selection-but there’s just something off-putting about beastly spiders no matter how small. 🙂
WONDERFUL, words and images, both

Beautiful 😍
Wow!
Thanks for the “wows” Mitch. (However, I wish we had a better word than “wow” for glimpses of the extraordinary such as these!)
Amen, Nancy.

How strange!
It seems to be triggered by an older post getting a new comment. It’s as if it the WordPress computer suddenly realizes, “Oh, that reminds me, I never showed him all those other responses!”
Amazing quotes to ponder!
I feel like I went on a journey here! Thank you for the nice escape!
My pleasure, Keri!
