Love vs. Power
“Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his love for us in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
~Romans 5:7-8

Wonderful!!!
Through His power His love is revealed, and through His love His power is revealed. They are truly inseparable.
Amen, Scott.
Oh, the love and power of our Lord Jesus. Glory!!

Well put.
This is very relevant for our time, Mitch, when powerful entities like to throw their weight around. Augustine said that earthly kingdoms are based upon force, pride, the love of human praise, the desire for domination, and self-interest. But Jesus’ kingdom, exemplified by the cross, is based on love, sacrifice, humility, and righteousness – to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Gentiles foolishness (1 Corinthians 1:23).
