The Ultimate Epiphany

presentation1

Dictionaries define epiphany as a sudden or divine revelation. The annual celebration called Epiphany, traditionally on January 6th, commemorates the ultimate epiphany: the revelation that Yeshua Ha’Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah) came to save not only the people of Israel, but all people. The occasion is often symbolized by the declaration of the magi, foreign wise men, that Jesus was their king as well, that he was, in fact, everyone’s king!

“By the tender mercy of our God, the dawn shall break from on high upon us, to shine upon those who live in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

~Luke 1:78-79

The Ultimate Epiphany! Mitch, I did not know of this day! Thank you for sharing the amazing news and truth! What a mighty Savior we serve ~he loves and saves us all! What a life giving opportunity if we choose! ❤️🙏🏻I’m so glad I accepted this gift!

  6. Celebrating this event is so wonderful!

  7. Thank you, Mitch. I’ve been tense and on edge lately thinking about getting older and the state of the world. I read Luke 1:78-79 and felt immediate peace. Really – a sense of calm came over me. One of my new year resolutions is to get more familiar with the Bible (maybe over a cup of coffee – Ha!).

  8. Pure Glory says:

So glad that Jesus our Messiah, comes to all people groups. Salvation is not limited but is available to all, who choose to receive him. Hallelujah!

  9. Mitch, I always wondered why this day was called “Epiphany.” This makes sense! Now that I think about it, the magi were the first Gentiles to worship Jesus, weren’t they?
