Yes. It’s easy to ignore the wonder of the ordinary as we rush here and there. Don’t despise the day of small things.
I haven’t had a car for over two years and can’t afford the bus, so I’ve been walking miles and miles per day.

Amen! There’s this photographer I know who takes portraits and sees people as Jesus sees them. Not sure how he does it, but he sure seems to have our Father’s lens! Young, old, sad, happy, no matter what we really look like, he sure captures the beauty of people’s souls.

I don’t really have a good link to his stuff, but his name is Tom Darin Liskey and I bump into him a lot at Literary Life. He needs to write a book and publish his photos and share his eyes with the world, but as of yet, I don’t think he has.

I love the photo, the way it shows not only what the camera was focused on, but what is reflected from above. It makes me wonder what I am reflecting in my seemingly mundane life.
