Sunday Is Coming!

Am I jumping the gun, celebrating too early? Maybe. But like the little guy in the photo, I can’t wait. Because I know Sunday is coming! And after that? Nothing will ever be the same.

    Still, I would exhort you to not skip over Good Friday.

    Too many Christians (not you, I’m sure) want heaven without a cross.
    Kind of like (perhaps exactly like) kids want sex without marriage…

    Oh yeah, I’m ready to leap with joy on Sunday. But first I’ll be part of a group reading during tonight’s Maundy Thursday service, recounting the events of the last supper, the betrayal and the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Can’t have one without the other. But, Oh boy!, am I excited about what’s to come.
