    I do reflect on these issues. I think the best we can fathom now is that there is a dimension wherein lies the Heavenly Kingdom. The Trinity is close. The Holy Spirit resides within us. I believe there are moments we can almost taste Heaven. They are glimpses of that sacred place just beyond our grasp in that thin line between our fragile lives and death. I do think there is a paradise where we reside without a physical self and our bodies will be resurrected at the end times as we live eternally where the New Heavens meet the New Earth. Oh Jerusalem!

    Great, thought-provoking post again, Mitch. It leads me to reflect on all the distorted ways we humans have sought to satisfy that longing… most of which only lead to deeper alienation and greater longing still.
