“Moss”
The Greatest Artist of All Time
He’s had the longest career of any artist in history, and at a considerably advanced age is still crafting new works. He creates works in every medium — sculpture, engraving, painting, even performance art — and the scale of his work runs from the subatomic to the cosmic. Some of his works last for microseconds, others for eons. Have you guessed who he is?
Here are some examples (click on images for description & slideshow):
“Snowflake” series – total number of works unknown
Brine Shrimp
Algae
Galaxy 2 – part of an unlimited, constantly changing series
Aurora Borealis
Live Sea Slug
Galaxy 4
Fly Larva
Galaxy 1 – Media: Light, gas, photons, muons, other unknown elements
“Snowflakes” micro-engraving series
Spiral Whirlpool Galaxy
His performance art has also been on display throughout history. This piece, “The Sea of Galilee,” is notable in that the Artist made multiple personal appearances there, sailing, fishing, and even walking upon it.
“He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, yet the world did not recognize him… But to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” ~John 1:10, 12
Beautiful reminders of the Master Artist of the universe!
❤️
Goosebumps!
Such beauty. God certainly doesn’t make any junk. His art is perfection.
Love this!
Beautiful. He’s the only One that can do it.
No one like Him. 🙏
God’s creations are truly magnificent. It’s mind blowing to try to imagine the creations that exist elsewhere in the universe.
I totally agree!!
There could be a world with some sea and land; a school of uniform fish and some seaweed and on land a herd of one species of four legged animal eating the endless carpet of green grass. Instead we have a rainbow world of fauna and flora and artistic designs in every molecule.
Beautifully expressed. Love this. And I love it that I am one of God’s personally signed masterpieces.
Love this, Mitch!
God is magnificent.
He never fails to amaze me.
Indeed, the greatest.
Well said! It’s so easy to miss seeing God as an artist. The power of creation is something every artist craves, and that gift comes from our Heavenly Father.
