My Featured Blogger this week is Nancy Ruegg of From the Inside Out. In the interest of full disclosure (and becasue I wanted to use the word “disclosure”), I should tell you that Nancy and I have been good friends and members of the same writers group for nearly a decade. And furthermore that her excellent post (below) is a review of an excellent new novel by another writer I have known even longer, Colleen Scheid, one of the co-founders of aforesaid writer’s group. However, I will not recuse myself therefore (note how I slipped in another impressive legal word) of featuring both of them hereof. Why? Because they are both talented writers and worthy of being featured herein! So sue me. ~Mitch

Nancy is a prime example of someone who is too famous to bother with my little blog, but she likes and comments anyway. I’m not surprised to learn that she has rubbed shoulders with you, and other famous story teller types. Note: famous for me means there’s an article on Wikipedia about you. 🙂
Nancy is as gracious in person as she seems on line, David. She walks the talk.
Thank you, Mitch! Praise God that’s what you see!
David, thank you for the gracious comments, but please know I am NOT famous. I appreciate your blog, THAT’s why I read and comment!
Thank you for this share with a delightful author.
My pleasure, Sandy.
On my way to read the rest!
Thanks, Mitch! Nancy is a real delight every time I connect with her in the blogosphere. I am going to table any legal action for now.

Thank you, Russell, for your kind comment!
Mitch, thank you for this “double blessing”! Nancy is an amazing human (and writer!). She has encouraged me so much (just as you). The book and author she reviewed piqued my interest! “Someone they can trust”…my heart and mind immediately made connections in my own life (family of pastors, church, leaders, honesty, deceit,…”we’re only human after all” stuff). Mitch, you and your family are written “ink” in my daily prayer journal. Stay blessed and safe, dear friend!
Oh, Karla, I’m so blessed to know you — and to make it into “ink” in your prayer journal, wow! Likewise, dear friend.
Thank you, Karla, for your kind words. It warms my heart that I have been an encouragement to you!
It’s my blessing, Nancy! ❤️
