It felt like autumn here for the first time this morning, and I immediately sprang into action and did…nothing. There’s something about cool weather that makes you want to just grab a cuppa and chill, to read, doze, or simply hang out and soak up the seasonal glow. Humans aren’t the only ones. Enjoy, and have a chillfull weekend, friends.

For some reason, I wanted to be out in it at daybreak–a 10 block loop! Spittin’ rain, 48 degrees, leanin’ into a blustery north wind. Invigorating! (I’ve been worthless since then, but hey, there’s coffee.) #aginggratefully
I did that too, Joy! On my bike, heading for a destination about 6 miles away, about 1/4 mile from home I thought, “I shoulda brought my windbreaker. That was dumb…” About 1/4 mile later, I thought, “I DO need that windbreaker, and I didn’t go back for it, that was even dumber!” So I went back, got it, and started over. About 1/3 of the way, I was peddling as hard as I could (about the same speed I could have walked) right into the wind for pretty much the rest of the way. (Glad I had that windbreaker!) Now I’m done with exercise for the day, and “chillin'” sounds really good – except for the “chill” part. >Brrr!<
Nice Image!
Awww! Too cute!
Amazing photos, Mitch! Chill away…and make like that kangaroo. He knows his priorities, doesn’t he (she?)? LOL! 🥰🤣🥰
Mitch, your photo selection causes on to stop and contemplate the glory of God’s creation.
Great photos. Enjoy your chilled out weekend. Here in the UK the weather has still be very warm for the time of year, so intending to have a nice relaxing weekend as well.
Relax away, my friend.
Great photo😍s!!! What a great time of year!!
Just what I needed today, Mitch, as we prepare for Canadian Thanksgiving. A reminder to be grateful for all of God’s creatures, and for His sense of humour! Or your sense of humor (note that you get the American spelling). The pictures are wonderful, and I smiled a lot. I might even have giggled once or twice. Happy weekend!
I notice that God’s sense of humour is spelled the Canadian way. ;>) Thanks, Gail!
The camel picture made me spit my tea all over my phone! 🤣🤣🤣
These photos are so cute! Love the cow one. 🙂 I was out on my patio with a book right before coming in and reading your post. Chilling is the best!
Awww..🥰 I might actually spring for colored printer ink so that the little brown cow can live with us!
;>)
I’ll take some of that chillin’ action.
You had the first chilly day of fall. Here, as I sat by my open balcony door this morning thought how like a spring day it felt today. This is our Thanksgiving Day weekend in Canada and often it is wet and cold, so I hope it stays nice for the duration at least. There is more than enough time for the cold weather to rule. So don’t think I’ll be “chilling” but be cozy instead.
Very nice pictures Mitch. Have a great weekend!
You too, Cora!
Thanks!
Is that an OCELOT? You, Sir, are my new hero.
Actually, I think it’s a clouded leopard, a rare species.
These images are spectacular, Mitch. 🙂
So glad you enjoyed them, Nancy.
Love these photos. Have a great weekend
You too, Mary Anne.
Nice pics 😊
QT!
Some spectacular photographs, Mitch, kudos!
Thanks, Daniel. I do enjoy curating these photoblog galleries.
Cutest photos ever!
what caught me about this post is the first sentence…made me laugh out loud pretty hard. lol
;>)
Fall here is 41 in the morning and 71 in the afternoon. Grabbing a read in the hammock while the leaves swirl around me.
Perfect.
Nature at its best! Happy Autumn!
You too, AW!
The perfect way to end the week, Mitch! It’s amazing that someone captured these adorable animals chillin’.
It’s finally cool here, too…..so I went out and bought some pumpkins! But now I’m chilling.
These are awesome, Mitch. They are very happy photos. We could learn a lot from our furry neighbors.
These are so funny Mitch. I couldn’t decide on my favourite but I did love the camel watching the dung beetle 🪲

New subscriber. From your presence ‘liking’ my recent post of the film Five Easy Pieces, I checked out your blog and like what I see ! and I’m fussy & picky about whom I subscribe to. I’m looking forard to enjoying your posts.
By the way I have a dedicated page for (mostly) vintage films.
I’ll do my best to live up to your standards! ;>) I’m a vintage film fan too, btw.
