We think we understand. But do we? I suspect the main sound heard at the entrance to heaven is not the fluttering of angel’s wings, but the slapping of foreheads, accompanied by startled “Ohhh”s!
“How great is God–beyond our understanding!” ~Job 36:26
“How unsearchable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!” ~Romans 11:33
“If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?” ~John 3:12
“For now we see but a dark reflection in a mirror; but then, we shall see face to face. For now, we know but little; but then we shall know fully, even as we are fully known.” ~1 Corinthians 13:12

Wise words. Heaven doesn’t issue a travel brochure… I know we have some attempt of description in Revelation but that teases our mortal brain already and causes us to slap our foreheads.
It does indeed.
I sincerely believe that you’re right about that. And how great the slapping will be!
MY MY God! We really have no idea. But we await that day!
The idea and my thoughts of heaven seem to consume me lately… Oh, I can’t wait!
It blows my mind when I think I will be able to sit and chat – with no clocks to watch – with people such as Billy graham, Moses and my own grandparents. Heaven indeed.
Indeed!
