Have I Been Chosen?

Chosen

If your question is, “Have I been chosen?”

God’s answer is, “Do you want to be?”

If your answer is,

“Yes,”

Then God’s answer is,

“Yes.”

Psalm 37:4   ∴   Matthew 7:7   ∴  2 Corinthians 1:20

    Some in the Bible, like the prophet Jonah and the Apostle Paul might say they were chosen before they knew they wanted to be. But, I know what you mean, Mitch.
    “Yes, Lord. Yes!” is my response.

    Thank you for this. I am so often saddened when this verse has been taken from its context in the psalm as a weapon in the pro-life/pro-choice conflict when it is so clearly not “about” that.
