Happiness is Nowhere

lonely-monster

Happiness is nowhere.

Happiness is now           here.

What’s the difference? Only air

That sometimes fills the space for years

But know that it in time will come

Although its presence may be fleeting

They say it lingers long for some

But others say it dodges meetings

Perhaps while we cry, “Where? If only…

When will this endless waiting end?”

It’s simply feeling used and lonely

And waiting for a faithful friend

Mitch, is there no end to your talents? Life is not coming one day, it’s here already. This is just beautiful.

  3. This is really lovely. I think happiness is a conscious decision…I know sometimes I really have to talk myself into it but I try to focus on the good things. Even when there aren’t many, there is always something…

Nicely done, once again. I’ve made that play on the nowhere/now here thingy several times. And I know it’s a cliche, but, you know, “great minds…” Thanks again.
