Hmm, I’ve even used the FaceApp to see what I’d look like at a certain age to compare with my mother and Grandma Leora. Seriously, Favorite Guy and I are both pretty well disabled, but still in our own home after 60 years together. Just that our other “better half” is in the house (or coming home soon) is such a blessing. Yes, each other!

Growing old is a gift. And to do it with your loved one, even a greater blessing.

By the way, Miss Piggy would never allow herself to look old! 😂

Oh, my, this struck a chord! My husband hit a milestone birthday last month, I have one coming next month, and our 55th wedding anniversary is in December. Yet life together is better than ever. Thank you for this beautiful pist.

Respect to Mr. Kermit and to Mrs. Piggy. The secret of years together…….Kermit is now deaf so can’t here Mrs. Piggy’s ranting and raving!

Bitter-sweet. The realization that even The Muppets grow old…

But when you are totally alone, the best you can do is treasure the memories you have until you meet up with your loved ones on the other side,

As a person who lives next door to Walt Disney World and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring The Muppets, that photo looks just a little scary. 😉

  13. Still, though, I can’t help but wish I could unsee THESE 2 elderlies, LOL!!

  14. Pam Webb says:

We are celebrating the hub’s 80th this month and his favorite quip when a clerk asks the standard, “How are you doing?” is “Not bad for an old guy.” To which I reply, “I don’t hang out with old guys.” But I do and it is not as bad as I thought 😉

  15. Very true 🙂

    ~Audrey Hepburn, is right.

It’s so hard to find a true love. So, when you have found a true love, hold on until death.

Growing older is a gift, a privilege. There are two ways to run with it…gracefully or disgracefully 😉 I know women who turn 60 and learn how to really live 🙂

    Great post!
