Summer is officially here (in my hemisphere, anyway). And you know what that means: Vacation planning! May your holidays be free of angst. Some tips: Avoid Kafka Festivals, bald sopranos, any town named Weltschmerz, and any place that has No Exit. Because, hey, life may be absurd, but it’s pretty awesome! Except when it’s not. Get it? “When it’s not.” As in doesn’t exist? Oh, never mind.
“Once a week, I like to slip into a deep existential depression where I lose all my sense of oneness and self-worth.” ~Bo Burnham
“I have an existential map. It has ‘You are here’ written all over it.” ~Steven Wright

Great cartoon.
And great Stephen Wright quote. 🙂
“You are here” map! Love it. Great post. I want “you are here” tattooed on the inside of my wrist like Adam (Crazywise). Happy Summer Vacationing Mitch to you and yours. ♥.
Thanks, Niki. You too!
Love it! Are you the creator of the cartoon?
No, can’t take credit for it. Wish I could.
OMG I am dying with laughter about that cartoon. The quote about the existential map is pretty funny too. We are just getting ready to go back to Miami in 2 1/2 weeks. Hope it will go better than those cartoon characters up there!
;>)
great fun… thanks for passing them along

Mitch, a super cartoon! You have a fun way of teaching
or is that
‘you have fun teaching’? Both I think.
It is always good to spend time in this space.
Steven Wright, love him. 😉
This made me Lol!
Made me LOL too, maybe that’s what’s wrong with my kids in the mornings…….. they have ennui.
Could be. Also, older men have ennui several times during the night.
Love it!
Do they really have Kafka festivals? Metamorphosis would be pretty cool to see live. 🙂
They could have midnight showings where all the Kafka fans come dressed as giant cockroaches.
I appreciate the excellent advice. Thank you.
