Thought for the Week
Everything that matters most in life is tied to death: forgiveness, resolving differences, healing wounded hearts. When death looms, we suddenly remember the only thing that matters is love.* If only death were always with us we would finally learn how to love.
But wait, it is.
At this very moment, each us is dying. Even “in the midst of life, we are in death” (The Book of Common Prayer). It’s almost as if, by creating death, God has said, “Do I have to kill you to get you to love? Then so be it. Now start loving each other before it’s too late.”

Very true🙏👋
Very clear and concise instructional.
Thanks, Tom
What an interesting way to view love, life, and death! It’s oddly comforting to think of it this way.
Good article Mitch!
I think one of the greatest commands Jesus gave us was to love others as He loved us.
I hope your week is off to a good start.
Yes, and likewise, Cora.
This part of life, truly has the capacity to impact how we show up and love in our lives.
Exactly, LaDonna.
So true! ❤️
That’s so true, death is the ultimate ending as we know life down here that takes us to essence of life and what really matters.
Great post
Thanks, L.G.
Very powerful message.
Thank you, Nancy.
Tibetan Buddhists actually “practice dying” for this reason 👌

Making the most of the little time we have. Blessings
Thanks, Pete. Likewise, my friend.
That photo is hard to stomach
👏. The only surety in life is the ending, Death calls no matter how hard we fight it…. It’s how we use our time that’s important until that appointment we can’t ever cancel, … 💫🙏💫
So true, Penny.
Great 👍⭐💚
An old priest once told me that what you find at the edge of the grave is what’s truly important.
Wise words, William.
