Enemies?

ferguson-free-hugNo one makes things better by killing people who merely look like their enemies. And only one death–not an act of hate, but of love–ever brought anyone else back to life (Ephesians 2:5).

Please pray for those affected by the killings

in Baton Rouge, Saint Paul, and now Dallas.

so sad. Only love can erase hate.

  8. The killings of the police officers was terrible and senseless. The shooting of black people by the police is also terrible. There is a lot of work to be done on how black people are treated by the criminal justice system in the U.S. But that cannot be a justification for firing on police officers who were just trying to protect the protestors.

  9. Nancy Ruegg says:

Such wise words, Mitch. Hatred only breeds misery and senseless loss. How DO we stop the madness?

  12. Pray, pray, pray. Evil men and women make a mockery of this beautiful world. I pray that good people open their hearts, minds, and eyes and truly SEE what is going on right now. Thank you for this post. xo
