I remember a story about a kid who found a broken mirror. He would use the mirror to shine light into dark places to find all sorts of stuff. Later, when he grown, he found that the broken mirror was a metaphor for us. We are not the light but we can reflect the light. Trying to be the best reflection I can be for the true light from above.
Exactly, Gregory. Jesus called his follower “the light of the world,” but it’s understood that he meant reflections of his light.
