It’s my ninth blogiversary! I had no idea when I started nine years ago that: 1) I’d ever have more than a handful of followers, 2) I’d develop real and meaningful friendships in the process, and 3) How supportive those friends would be of my projects (films, writing, music). So most of all, I want thank you! Because you’re the reason I’m still here, and the reason this blog site is such a big part of my life!

And here, according to childcare experts, are the characteristic traits of a nine-year-old (with my comments in italics):
- Recognizing that different people have different perspectives and may see a situation differently (I understand why you may not consider my blog site the most important thing you’ll ever read, and I respect your right to be wrong)
- Being moody; may be upset one minute and then fine the next (I am not! Well, OK, I guess I am a little. Hey, isn’t it a beautiful day? Well, of course it is – just look out the window, you nincompoop!)
- Working cooperatively toward shared goals (If we work together, there’s no way we can fail at achieving my goals!)
- Enjoying singing, acting and being creative. (Wow, they kinda nailed this one)
- Being emotionally sensitive and vulnerable. (Why would you even say that about me?)
- Being better at communicating needs and wants in socially appropriate ways (Still working on this)
- Wanting good to triumph over evil. (Love wins!)
