Love this quote! Thank you for sharing. 🙂
There is some truth to that saying. However, I have lived through quite a few present moments that were not peaceful at all.
My first clear childhood memory was a 6.7 earthquake. I woke up in my bed and everything around me was banging, shaking, breaking, and falling. I could hear people screaming in the hall outside the apartment. It was my “Welcome to Life” moment. Yeah, not peaceful. 😂
Indeed, Linda. It seems, for you, living in the past (the womb?) would have been far more peaceful at that particular moment.
Words to live by.
Timeless wisdom.
I might suggest a fourth, whimsical option: If you’re frustrated with your baseball team, you’re living in Kansas City.
Or Cincinnati.
An evergreen advice to have it tucked in our little brain for a vibrant living
This is a very profound Spiritual concept. Do you think that Faith in Christ would change the whole premise?
No. I think “living in the present” is quite consistent with Jesus’ teachings. After all, as C.S. Lewis said, “the Present is the point at which time touches eternity.”
👍👍
Truth!
I never thought of it that way, but it’s true!
