We’re Havin’ a Heatwave!

So, this is spring? A month before summer officially begins here we started experiencing near-record heat, with temperatures rivaling peak summer days and not a rain cloud in sight. The ground is fractured, the shrubs are slouching, and our little cat has taken up residence on top of an AC outlet! What will actual summer be like? Below are some visual predictions. Have a great weekend, and stay cool!

  1. Same here… we are struggling hard to beat the severe heat… 🤔😔

I guess it’s all relative, as where you live, myself on the Southwest coast near San Diego with a lower 60F and a high 66F, right now 63F Actually need a blanket at night to be cozy! 🤷‍♂️

Hope you guys get soon some relief, good luck! 😀

Hi there I really need your help please 🙏
Might you be having a domain that you rarely use
Please help me with one if have.

  5. Some of those images are marvellous!! 🙂 🙂 Hope you manage to keep cool 🤞

Thanks, Mitch — all of the pics were fun…and a little too close to the truth about the heat – as you said – already. The pic of the melted flipflop into the asphalt? Wowza. Stay cool! 😎

  7. Loved these, Mitch. Stay cool.

  8. sniderjerry says:

It was so hot I saw a dog chasing a cat and they were both walking.

  9. This was a great selection of pics to help us laugh about the heat. I do feel bad for the animals though and thought the person who put out the kiddie pools to take for outdoor animals was remarkably kind. Thanks for the chuckles, Mitch!

  10. Ha ha lots of funny pics. Here in Texas we are used to getting very hot summers, but it is slowly getting a little bit worse. It is a good idea to leave water out of for wildlife passing by your property but change it often to avoid mosquitos.

Love the pup cradling the Coke can–but the ones with the refrigerators made me nervous! Hope it cools off for you. And me, for that matter.

  12. These are hilarious. Two feral cats have taken refuge in my tiger lilies. Maybe they thing they’re second hand tigers🥸

  13. I’m hot just looking at these. The water park is my worst nightmare.

  14. Work is always fun without AC! These are funny!

  15. Thanks for sharing these images. Such a terrible heatwave. Anita

Great pics Mitch. The cat in the fridge reminded me of my neighbor who had a cat years ago. One day she came home to find the cat in the freezer portion of the fridge. Fortunately the door hadn’t shut on her. I think she kept catnip in there and the cat knew where to find it.
It’s been very hot here, too, and also extremely unusual for South Western Ontario. It was 34′ C (94’F) today. Very strange for June. But I’ll take the heat before the cold any day. I don’t have AC in my apartment, and the AC in my car has never worked since I got it in 2009.
Try to keep as cool as possible.

  17. The second picture looks like the father of the little fawn that was sleeping under our picnic table. 💕
I was chatting with a receptionist who said she had a small plastic pool in her yard, and a mama bear and her cubs came and made themselves at home in it. The heat is definitely breaking down barriers.

  18. We are having very comfortable desert weather. Around 100 during the day, mid 60’s at night. It is a dry heat, and it does make a difference! But I will take the humidity if I can be at the beach 😁🌴🥥

Too funny. Meanwhile, here in northern Colorado we are experiencing wetter than normal weather with temps that rarely get over 75. It’s not bad, actually.

  20. Very neat pictures Mitch.
    Enjoy the weekend.

  21. Greece is still just warm. No heat wave yet but the rivers have very little water. Hope it cools down soon with some rain.

  22. ropheka says:

Thanks for starting my day off with a laugh.

  23. Pam Webb says:

It’s so hot where we live that I notice I have a tan from sitting in the shade.
