Two Unexpected Lessons in Grace

Two Powerful Sermon Illustrations

Pastors, teachers, and church drama groups: Each of these scenes takes place in a classroom and features a powerful, unexpected lesson in grace. And both are now available from my script publisher SkitGuys.com!

The Tutor (3 actors, 2 extras) – True story. A college prof encounters a young inner city man who restores his belief that anyone who’s willing can redeem others’ lives. Great intro for a talk on discovering your ministry.

Grace 101 – (1 actor and 3+ extras) – A Religious Studies professor criticizes his class for missing the central idea of Jesus’ teachings. The surprise ending provides the perfect set-up for a message on grace and/or Jesus’ character.

Mitch, I’m blown away by EVERYTHING on the The Story Shop. There are two movies I must see that I haven’t. Also, the song from Healing River (yes!) and ALL the skits?!?! Do you have time to sleep? You, my friend, have not wasted one minute of your precious life! You’re inspiring, dear friend!
