Two Movies at Once!

I never dreamed I’d have two feature films, as a writer-director, in release at the same time–and two such completely different movies, too! Our distributor decided that, rather than wait as originally intended, they’d release my new comedy Notzilla right away (it’s due within the next week or two)! Why? Because, as a result of the lockdown, people are suddenly having to hunt for decent entertainment. And also because my inspirational drama Healing River has been so well received (thank you!).

Here’s a brief never-before-posted clip from Healing River:

If you haven’t seen Healing River yet, you can watch or order it by clicking here.

P.S. If you’ve seen it, may I invite you to: 1) Leave a brief review at Amazon (the more reviews the more they invite others to see it); and 2) To rate the movie at IMDb? (link below) We’re working to counter a fake rating created by internet trolls (who hadn’t even seen the film) when it first premiered! Thanks and blessings. ~Mitch

    Notzilla!!!🤣🤣🤣Can’t wait you see it!

  2. Netflix? Amazon? Redbox?

    • mitchteemley says:

Phase one for Notzilla will be Amazon Prime, just like Healing River. Then they’ll gradually roll-out to other streaming sites, cable/dish, DVDs, etc.

  3. Congratulations, Mitch! That’s fabulous!

  4. YES! I’ve been wanting to see Notzilla since you first talked about it! I still need to watch Healing River too, which as you know, my Mom and Dad loved. Going to be a great movie night real soon!😊 God bless!

    Congratulations!

  6. Very cool!

  7. trE says:

Wow! This is great news, Mitch! Awesome!

  8. Salem Andero says:

Congratulations Mr Mitch. Though you may not see it this way but you’re just a replica of Joshua.
Forgetting about your age, I know better things will still come.
    More grace Sir.

  9. Awesome! What a funny contrast between those two movies. “Healing River” was really good. Definitely a tearjerker, but good tears. I’m much like your mom in the story. Thankfully my kids are all well and sadly I don’t own the coffee shop I work at, but she was definitely a relatable character.

    • mitchteemley says:

No tears in Notzilla, I promise, Gabrielle, except possibly a few tears of laughter. But you may find the leading lady relatable–an assistant with a graduate degree who’s way smarter than her idiot boss.

  10. Will Notzilla also be available on the web?

  11. Cheryl schaeffner says:

That’s great Mitch! I’ve watched Healing River twice and second time picked up even more nuanced meaning and play on words!…
I’m looking forward to laughs with Notzilla!

    • mitchteemley says:

      Aw, thank you, Cheryl!
P.S. If you haven’t already, may I encourage you to leave a brief review at Amazon? (The more reviews a movie receives, the more they recommend it). You can also rate it on IMDb (link below). • I watched Healing River last night and LOVED it. I noticed in the ending credits that you wrote most of the songs. You are amazingly talented!!

I did leave a 5 star review on Amazon early this morning. It hasn’t posted yet. The message I got when I left the review is that it may take several days for someone to approve it. Amazon must be very shorthanded right now.

Healing River made me think, it made me cry, and left me full of joy. It is very beautiful and professionally done. I know Notzilla is a completely different type of movie, but I am looking forward to seeing that one, too. I almost never watch movies, so this is quite an experience for me.

i will be leaving a 10 star review on IMDb later today, after I get my head in the right mode. By the way, I have been taking niacin for years, for the same reason as the main character in Healing River. It works. But oh, the flush! 😉

      • mitchteemley says:

So glad you enjoyed it, Linda (and thank you for the review and IMDb rating)!
        P.S. I take niacin too.
