Two Delightful Summer Stories

It’s Family Time!

Pastors, teachers, and drama groups: These two scenes of mine, one modern, and one based on an ancient tale, have been performed throughout North America! Both are now available from my script publisher SkitGuys.com for you to read or perform!

King Midas (Monologue) – SkitGuys says, “In this retelling of the ancient story, a greedy man learns what really matters — and what really doesn’t. A touching, gently whimsical illustration of the redeeming power of love.” This monologue is written to be told by a single storyteller.

King Midas (Ensemble) – The ensemble-version of King Midas is told by three storytellers and acted out by three (or more) characters. The roles are open to various ages, and are easy to perform.

Jesus GOPokémon GO exploded on the scene in 2016, and is still the most popular app of all time. “But,” SkitGuys says, “could it be that Jesus came up with the idea first? This three-person scene (an adult, a young teen, and a pre-teen) provides a great intro for a message or group discussion on sharing and living out our faith (the two are connected)!”
