Running the gamut…sobering and sad to super silly. Love these…but I will admit the tanks with tea service? A fave…and the bodies in Ben’s basement? Ick. Thanks for the history lessons – conjuring giggles and gasps. 😉
My pleasure, Victoria.
Well, that was enlightening! Thanks.
Things that make you go hmmmmmm.
*hugs ‘coonskin cap a little closer to her heart after such betrayal, Dan’l 😱*

We may not want to claim all of this as our history. 😆
And I thought I knew some history! Wow! I gasped at several, giggled at many, and had to read a few twice! To think even a baboon would work for brandy. 😬 Thank you for the enlightenment, Mitch!
My pleasure, as always, Karla.
🥰
Lol, we Brits can’t do anything without a cup of tea!
;>)
Fascinating, and some highly disturbing. Where did you find all this stuff?

Speaking of history, if you haven’t already read “They Went That-A-Way” by Malcolm Forbes, you should grab a copy off Amazon. A fun fact-filled little book on how “the famous, infamous and the great died.” Quite a few surprises in there!
I’ll check it out, Nancy!
Such interesting tid-bits of history, Mitch. Thanks for sharing the best of your internet-gleaning!
My pleasure, Nancy.
If this is the history I had been taught in school, I would have much less antagonism towards it 🙂
I know what you mean. My favorite history teacher was one who peppered his lectures with litle-known facts and surprising stories.
I love it! Especially the fortune teller’s prediction to Hitler. Know what else? I don’t care if it is capital “T” True or not.
fascinating!!
