There are only two kinds of people in this world:
those who know they’re broken
and those who believe they aren’t.
It’s the latter who keep this world from healing.
I know because I was once among the latter.

Amen!
And, ironically, it is the latter who are always primed to condemn others for their imperfections.
All too true, Rob.
P.S. Oddly, WordPress labels you Anonymous here, but includes your profile picture and email address.
So true.
So true
Well said, Mitch. I love John Ortberg’s book, Steps, which focuses on the premise that we are all working on a compelling defect and need to take the classic steps by God’s grace to heal.
Yes. And thank you, my Anonymous friend.
I agree with you. Sadly the latter seem to outnumber those who live in reality.
My similar perception of your quote would be ”
“There are TWO types of people on the planet and I dislike all THREE of them.”
After that I walk my girls to the park so they can bark their opinion to the squirrels.
;>)
Healing remains a process once we actually acknowledge our brokenness. I’m still working my way from one to the other.
Indeed, a lifelong process, Gail. But then, that’s why we’re here.
And know where to go for grace for healing.
Amen. So true.
Hello, my name is Karla and I’ve been broken many times! Your quote is beautiful, Mitch–just as brokenness!!
🧡
I prayed that your hurt be healed. Blessings, Karla! 🙂
From first hand experience, the latter know inside that they are causing their own problems, but some just cannot see the forest for the trees.
Such raw truth, hugs, C
Back at you, Cheryl.
🧡
So true…we pray for them.
May the broken find strength in our Lord Jesus Christ. Great post, Mitch! 😁👍🙏
Thanks, and amen, Nancy❣
And the latter are self righteous and do no wrong?
So true, but as the quote says, they don’t see it. They won’t look for healing, they will try to make everyone else break with them. By the Grace of our Lord I choose healing.
🧡
Sad but true.
this is true
Well I am happy that you were healed by God’s grace and someone in your life to help you remain unbroken.
🧡
Such good truth❤️
Thank you, LaDonna. 🧡
A very profound insight!
Good to hear from you, Abe.
